Team Dolan has signed its fourth driver for the BRSCC Avon Tyres National FF1600 season, adding Adam Quartermaine to its 2019 line-up.
Quartermaine, who shared a garage with Dolan during last year’s Walter Hayes Trophy, is excited to be working with a “highly talented” team this season.
“Joining Team Dolan for my 2019 season presents a great opportunity to work with a highly talented team,” Quartermaine said.
“They have won so much in the past few years and it will provide me with a big boost to have their expertise and experience to maximise the results.”
Quartermaine is no stranger to National FF1600, claiming two podium places in the Post89 class at Mallory Park last season.
He has made sporadic outings in the class since 2009, with a best championship finish of eighth that same year.
A third in the Edwina Overend Trophy and second in the Midland South championship, which included one race win, capped off his most successful year to date.
Quartermaine also made his Walter Hayes debut in 2009 and has frequently entered the Silverstone-based event since, as well as the Formula Ford Festival.
Dolan confirmed that Quartermaine will compete in both the Festival and the Walter Hayes in addition to his National series duties.
Despite entering his first FF1600 race a decade ago, 2019 will be Quartermaine’s busiest season yet, as he is scheduled to start over six races for the first time since 2014.
