Team Dolan has announced Morgan Quinn as its third driver signing for the 2019 BRSCC Avon Tyres National FF1600 season.
The 18-year-old Irishman finished eighth in last year’s British GT-supporting Ginetta GT5 Challenge, having also competed in Ginetta Junior and its Irish counterpart in previous years.
“I have known Morgan for a number of years now and he has been a permanent fixture within the team over the past year,” said team boss Dolan.
“Morgan had a number of options for 2019 in different categories and the fact that he has chosen to race in Formula Ford illustrates the pull the series has. Everyone in the team is looking forward to working with Morgan this coming year and we are confident that he will be a strong contender within the paddock.”
Quinn joins the team in which fellow Irishman Niall Murray dominated the championship with last year, and will begin his campaign when the season gets underway at Snetterton in April.
“It is a great opportunity to be working with Bernard in 2019 and being able to draw on his experience in FF1600 will undoubtedly prove beneficial to my racing career,” Quinn said.
